Rates change at county lines, school district boundaries and special district edges, and the seller's current bill tells a buyer little because assessment caps reset on sale. The information exists, spread across Census tables, state statutes and 3,000 county assessor websites. TaxByAddress puts it on one page per county, in the same format everywhere, and adds an estimator that applies it to a home value.
